This leaflet presents UNDP's key messages on energy and was launched and distributed at
the CSD-14, the fourteenth Commission on Sustainable Development. The annual United Nations
intergovernmental negotiations on environment, took place at UN Headquarters in New York from 1 to 12 May 2006. As part of a two-year cycle, CSD-14 (and CSD-15 in 2007), was tasked to review progress in the thematic cluster of energy for sustainable development, industrial development, air pollution/atmosphere and climate change.
