UNDP and Namibia's Ministry of Energy help builid the country's capacity for renewable energy. A UNDP GEF project is helping pave the way for increased solar energy applications, especially in rural areas of the country. The project will help deliver the financing for household installation of solar systems as well as installing solar panels on public buildings, such as schools and health clinics.
